Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Tingkap Photo's booking platform and our Mirror Photobooth rental services in Johor, Malaysia. By checking a date or submitting a booking, you agree to these terms.

Bookings & Availability

We take one event per day — once a date is booked, it's reserved for your event and no other event that day. Bookings within 7 days of the event date can't be made online and must be arranged directly with us on WhatsApp.

Pricing & Transport Fee

Package prices are shown at the time of booking. Venues within the Greater Johor Bahru area incur no transport fee; venues elsewhere in Johor are charged at a per-kilometre rate shown during booking, calculated from our base location.

Payment Schedule — Mirror Photobooth & Combo Packages

For these packages, payment is due in three stages:

• 20% deposit, non-refundable, due immediately at booking to lock in your date
• 40% due 2 months before your event
• The remaining balance due 2 weeks before your event

If you book closer to your event date than these milestones allow, the affected stages are combined and become due at the time of booking instead — you'll always see the exact amounts and due dates that apply to your booking before you confirm it.

Cancellations

The 20% deposit is always non-refundable. Beyond that, how much of what you've already paid is refunded depends on how far ahead of your event date you cancel:

• More than 2 months before the event — the deposit is forfeited; any other amount already paid is refunded.
• Between 2 months and 2 weeks before the event — the deposit plus 50% of the total amount paid is forfeited; the remaining amount already paid is refunded.
• Between 2 weeks and 7 days before the event — the deposit plus 100% of the amount paid is forfeited; no refund is given.

To cancel, contact us on WhatsApp as soon as possible — the applicable refund is based on the date we receive your cancellation request.

Rescheduling

Requests to move your event to a different date are subject to availability and our approval, and should be made as early as possible via WhatsApp.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate booking information (venue, guest count, contact details)
• Ensure our team has reasonable access to the venue for setup and dismantling
• Ensure guests use the photobooth appropriately and treat our equipment with care

Photos & Media

By booking our services, you agree that Tingkap Photo may use photos and videos captured at your event for our portfolio, website, and social media marketing. If you'd prefer your event isn't featured — in full or in part — just let us know via WhatsApp or email before your event, and we'll respect that.

Liability

We take reasonable care in providing our services, but we are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (see Force Majeure below). Our liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for failure to perform our services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or venue access issues not caused by us.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
